To end a tenancy you simply need to provide one month’s notice and ensure the notice is given by the appropriate date. One month’s notice is required from the date that your rent is due. So, generally this means that you need to have let us know by the first of the month to move out at the end of that month. For example if you were to provide notice on the 20th July then your contract would end on the 31st August.
